Enlisted Oct.1942, boot camp in San Diego, Aerographer School in Lakehurdt, NJ. Reported to USS Copahee (CVE 12) in San Francisco as AerM3/c around 3/43.  Served in SoPac  during WWII. Used GI bill to finish college.  Returned to USN as LTJG CEC USN in 1949. Seved with Seabees in Korea and Vietnam. Retired in 1974, now live in Riverside, CA
