December 1, 1966 to Feb. 1967 at Great Lakes, IL for boot camp with co. 708, under BT1 Peterson.  Stationed at Kodiak, Alaska from March 1967 to November 1969.  Worked at Kodiak Naval Station Fire Department.  Was a Tailboard rider on the Truck.  And later assigned as the daytime dispatcher.  George Wicks was the fire chief.  January 1970 to August 1970 stationed with VAW 126 on board the USS Forrestal.  Discharged in August 1970.  I would like to contact anyone who remembers me.  Nickname was "Ernie" while in Kodiak, Alaska.
