Center, Nov 57 assigned to USS Vega AF-59 OJT as Commissaryman 6 month
later I was on deck & Made BM3 Dec 7 1960, Jan 61 assigned to VR-7
Det 'A' Tachikawa Japan, flew Medavac in Vietman, married Jul 1963, 64
assigned Naval Moble Construction Battalion 10 Port Hueneme Ca, made over
the beach landing So. Vietnam with the Marines 1965, 66 assigned to NAS
Penscola FL made BM2, 68 assigned to lighterage Div on DMZ Cua Viet S Vietman
BM1 LPO small sraft, 69 assigned to USS Samuel Gompers AD-37 2nd Div LPO
and MAA, 71 assigned to USS Stein FF-1065 Deck LPO, provided early aircraft
warning for de-mining of hi fong harbor, 74 assigned NTC SD made BMC then
CWO1, 75 assigned to USS Thomaston LSD-28 made CWO2, 78 assigned to Port
Services officer, Naval Station Guam, made CWO3, 80 assigned to USS protues
AS-19 Ship Bos'n/1st LT, 82 assigned to Indian Island Weapon Station WA
as Asst OIC & Boarding Officer, made CWO4, 84 assigned to USS Camden
AOE2 Ship Bos'n and Safety Officer, Retired Dec 1, 1987.
