I served aboard the USS Wilis A. Lee DL-4 from Feb. 1961 until Feb. 1963. I am very proud of my service on the Lee. Although it took a while to realize I had done things young people don't do. I feel they are missing out on a lot of adventures.  I was aboard for the cuban blockade. We did a lot of sonar evaluating. It was well worth signing up for.
