  • Honorably Discharged, May, 1965 
  • Enlisted in the USAF Reserve September 1977 - Serving with the 440th Civil Engineer Squadron, Milwaukee, WI 
  • Transferred to the USN Reserve Seabees October, 1986 - Serving withDetachment 17, NMCB 25 - Fort McCoy, WI 
  • Retired from the Navy June, 1994 
Naval Service:
  • Basic Training - June 16, 1961 - Aug 18, 1961 - NTC San Diego, CA 
  • Interim Duty - September 1961 - February 1962 - Naval Station, 32nd St. San Diego pending Hospital Corps School 
  • Hospital Corps School - February 1962 - June 1962 - Balboa Naval Hospital,San Diego 
  • Field Medical Training - June 1962 - August 1962 - Camp Delmar, MCBPendelton, CA 
  • Fleet Marine Force, 3rd FSR, HS&M Batt, Camp Sukiran, Okinawa - August 1962 - April 1964, serving with various Marine Units during this period. 
  • April 1964 - May 1965 served with the Marines at MCB 29 Palms, CA. Seeingduty with the Naval Hospital, 1st LAAM and 2nd LAAM Battalions. 
  • Resumed a Naval career October, 1986 as a Construction Mechanic with NMCB 25. Retired as a CM1 June 1, 1994 
Air Force Service:
    After a 12 year absense from the military, enlisted in the USAFR at Mitchell
    Field, Milwaukee, Wisconsin as an Electrical Power Production Technician
    with the 440th CES and attainied the rank of Master Sergeant. Served with
    the 440th from September 1977 thru October 1986 and whne a Seabee Detachment was formed in Stevens Point, Wisconsin I transferred back to Naval service.
Interests/Hobbies:
    Genealogy, Computers, Internet website design, photographic restoration.

  • Air Force Sergeants Assn. 
  • American Legion 
  • Fleet Reserve Association
  • Currently secretary of FRA Branch 238, Central Wisconsin area. 
Websites Designed and maintained: Future Plans:
    Retiring in Bella Vista, Arkansas and enjoying the many golf courses
    available along with the great bass fishing, travel to Europe for the
    purpose of further genealogical reseach of ancestors.
