I entered the Navy delayed entry program in January 1976 before graduating from HS. I attended RTC Orlando, as subsequently trained in San Diego at Radioman "A" School. My first tour of duty was BCT Charleston SC from 1977-78. Next came NAF Azores from 78-79. During this time, I Served as a CTO for the Intel officer. I became interested in becoming an IS, and in Jan 1980 I shipped off to Lowery AFB, Denver for training. Upon completion of "A" School, and promotion to 2nd Class, I recieved orders for FOSIF WestPac, Kami Seya, JA (1980-84). I excelled during this assignment, recieving a NAM, numerous LOA's and LOC's. Next came FOSIC PAC, Pearl Harbor - same here, what a wonderful tour that was from 1984-88, and a Return to Kami Seya until 1989. It was at this Point I had to make a discission. Motherhood x3 did not mix with 2-2-2-80's, or 2-2-96's. I elected to end my active duty career honorably, June 1989. Upon returning to CONUS IN 1991, I jointed The USNR and continued providing my expertise until 2000. While in the USNR, I was awarded Several Medals and LOC/A's. What a wonderful ride!!!
