Entered the Service on September 24, 1947 and went to boot camp at Great
Lakes Training Center. Went to Electronics Technology School for
one year at Great Lakes. Served at U.S. Navy Communication's Station
in Pearl Harbor from January 1949 until March, 1951. Served on U.S.
Navy Destroyer Escort Alvin Cockrill 366 and honorably discharged September
21, 1951 in San Diego, California.
