Served from Dec 86 to Dec 06.  Went to San Diego Recruit Training Center, then to Great Lakes for GSM "A" school and was assigned to the ACU-4 Sea duty shortly thereafter.  Was involved with the Desert Storm/Desert Shield 1991 training and support.  Was transferred to the ACU-4 Shore duty for classroom & OJT LCAC training.  Left there and reported to Great Lakes for GSM "C" school.  Commissioned USS MAHAN  (DDG 72) in 1998, served onboard until April 03 last PlankOwner to leave her, while onboard operations codutcted in support of the War on Terrorism. Transferred to shore duty in Philadelphia at the Navy Yard for the DDG pre-commissioning training from 03-06, made CPO and retired. Honorably discharged in Dec. 06
