Attended NATU Philadelphia before reporting to the USS Bennington in 1963. Served in the V1 division until my release in 1966. I held several jobs during my stay including Blue shirt, Red shirt and then Yellow shirt Cat spotter. I had to stay on board ship at the beginning of the 1966 Cruise until the ship passed its readiness test, then I was released in Pearl.
