I did Boot Camp at Bainbridge 8/55 then served on a Destroyer Escort DE-220 Francis M Robinson. I was a Machinest Mate. Honorable discharge in 1961. I served on board the Robinson for two years. I recently had a yearning to find my ship and my shipmates. My ship was scrapped 1973. I joined Tin Can Sailors, found my ships website de220.com,  found  Destroyer Escort.com and now I found navy vets.
