Served from April 58 to May 69. Went to Great Lakes Recruit Training Center, was assigned to shore duty at Key West Naval Base. Went to USS Neosho in 59, then to Great Lakes to Machinest Mate school. Was transferred to USS Vulcan(AR5)took part in Cuban lockade. Transferred in 65 to put USS Liberty in commision. (Plank Owner). Transferred to USS Nantahala (AO60)1966, Honorably discharged in 1969 from same ship.
