Enlisted on Oct 31, 1966. Was reservist at 3-3 Surface division in Middletown NY. Went to boot camp in Jan 67. After boot camp was on the USS Delong {DE684} for short time. Was in Brooklyn Navy yard waiting for orders. Was ordered to the USS Holland { AS-32} in Charleston SC.} Was busted twice that is why I put as rank E-3 x 2. Was also on the USS Hermitage LSD 34 in 1971. Was discharged with a honorable discharge in Oct 1972
