Joined on Vetrans Day 1981, went to San Diego RTC and then went to "A" School in Millington Tennesse and learned ho wto be an Aircraft Electrician.  My first duty station was Naval Airstation Lemoore Ca. Squadron VA-147 "Jason and the Argonauts".  Ariwing attached to the USS Kitty Hawk CV-63, on which I did two WESPAC cruises and a Beach Detachment in Subic Bay PI.  One cruise was with the first active Commodore since WWII, he was in charge of our BAttle Group and he loved to sight see so omy first cruise had many ports of call all over Asia and even to Austrailia.  Honorably discharged on Veterans Day 1985.
