Served from June 1966 to May 1988. Went to Great Lakes Training Center, Then to Boat Coxwain school at Little Creek VA. Then assigned to U.S.S. Walworth County LST 1164. Released from active duty in March 1970 as SM3. Re-Enlisted in 1972 and was assigned to U.S.S Shreveport LPD 12. for 2 years then assigned to U.S.S. Raleigh LPD 1 for 3 years. Tranferred to Naval Station Norfolk and was assigned as a Chaser/Discipline Barracks LPO. for 2 years Then transferred to U.S.S. Ainsworth FF 1090 for 5 years. Assined to Naval Training Center Dam Neck VA in 1984 as a Base Police Officer. Transferred to Fleet Reserve (Retired) on April 30 1988.
