I went to RD"A" school at Great Lakes from Jan.1970 until May 1970.  I reported to the USS Carpenter DD825 in May of 1970.  While on the Carpenter I made three Westpac cruises visiting a lot of great places while aboard.  My last year on the Carpenter we were homeported at Treasure Is. in San Francisco training reserves.
I have a lot of great memories and would like to talk to anyone who might have served on board the Carpenter.
