Served from October 78 to October 86. Went to Great Lakes Recruit
Training Center, and was assigned to the USS Francis Hammond (FF-1067)
shortly thereafter. Was involved with the hostage crisis in Nov 79-Apr
80. Was transferred to the EW "A" school, then to the USS Vreeland
(FF-1068), then to EW "C" school and then the USS Lawrence (DDG-4), shore
duty in Norfolk. Honorably discharged in October 1986.
I am now a Paramedic.
