Served from December 1965 to December 1971.   Went to Great Lakes
Traing Center and was assigned to the USS ROCKBRIDGE APA 228 in
1967 thru 1968, home port Norfolk Virginia.   Several troop movements to
Cuba for embark and debarkation and in April of 1968 Mediterranean
Cruise.   I take pride in knowing we were the last crew to take part in that
cruise since the "ROCK" was later decommissioned shortly after that
cruise. I was Honorably discharged in Dec. 1971
