Born in 1933, went to schools in Redlands CA; Wichita KS; Kansas City MO; Westwood CA; Topanga Canyon CA; Lindsay CA. (No, Dad wasn't in the military, just got transferred a lot.)

U.S. Naval Academy 1951-1955.  Commissioned 1955, Amphib School, then USS Navarro (APA-215), then USS Knudson (APD-101), then USS Steuben County (LST-1138).  Shore duty at Sonar School, Key West, then RTC San Diego.  Inactive duty and Reserves participation in San Diego 1962-1975, while working as a real estate appraiser.

Moved from San Diego to Raymond WA in 1982 and stayed here after building an earth-sheltered house in the woods and investing in real estate.

After we broke down and got a computer, it has been fun looking up schoolmates and shipmates all over the country using people
finders.
