Wdent to boot camp Great lakes served on board the USS Pollux AKS-4 October 1965 until oct? 1967 Home port was Yokosuka Japan. did Inreps various ports in Vietnam. Da Nang, Cameron Bay, Chu Lai, An thoi, also did unreps for various ships so they could stay deployed in Viet Nam. The Most impressive one of these was the USS New Jersey. then finished my tour of duty on boeard the USS Delta AR9. stationed in Alameda Naval shipyard.  February 1969
