Joined the Navy in Dec. 1954, retired, July, 1975.  Attended Boot Camp in
Great Lakes.  Stationed at NAS Corpus Christi TX, as Control Tower Operator
for four years.  In 1958, after completing Ground Controlled Approach School,
Oleathe, KS, reported aboard NS Argentia, NFLD. for two years in the Radar Air
Traffic Control Center.  In 1960, I rotated back to NAS Corpus Christi.
 January, 1965, reported aboard USS Oriskany CVA 34, home port San Diego, CA.
After three cruises to scenic Tonkin Gulf, one fire and two yard periods at
Hunters Point I got the chance to loose my sea legs in San Diego.  From
Nov., 1968 until my retirement in 1975, served as instructor in Carrier Air Traffic Control at the Naval Training Center, Point Loma.
