Served from August 1968 to November 1971. Went to Great Lakes Recruit Training Center (Company Master at Arms & Company Honorman. Assigned USN Shipfitter School San Diego, graduated and assigned USS Terrel County (LST 1157) Stationship Cau Mau Peninusula Brown Water Navy home port Yokuska Japan. Re-Assigned US Navy Diving School San Diego left training due to injury. Re-Assigned USS Kitty Hawk (CVA 63) as 2nd in command of Pipe-Fitters Shop. Served as Damage Control Instructor, responsible to travel to other ships in the attack group and hold damage control drills and education. Finished my enlistment aboard the Kitty Hawk in 1971.
