She received her Recruit Training at NTC Great Lakes, Illinois from  August 2005 through  November 2005. From there she was sent to command CNRSW where she performend MA duties as an undesignated seamen. From 2006-2008 she performed duties within Harbor Security and Border Shore Patrol.

At the end of 2008 she was sent to duty station MESRON 5, which was part of the xpeditionary warfare side of the Navy. She worked within the deployable boat unit (IBU 51/55) for harbor security in Korea, Iraq, and Kuwait.

After her 4 years she was released with an honorable discharge and is involved with Naval Reserves.
