Served on active duty from June 68 to September 76. Went to Great Lakes Recruit Training Center, and was assigned to FT"A" School. Upon completion attended MK68 Fire Control "C" School. Assigned to USS Lang DE 1060 Nucleus Crew. Plank Owner, served aboard the Lang from Dec 1969 to Dec 1974. Made 2 WESTPAC Cruises. Served as LPO with the best Gun Fire Control group in the Navy. We got er done on the Gun Line. Was the last remaining Plank Owner onboard When I was transferred to DATC/FMAG Det, Pearl Harbor, HI Dec, 74. Honorably discharged there in Sep 1976. Served in the Navy Reserve from 1976 to 1979 Montgomery, Al Reserve Ctr.
