Boot camp Great lakes June '65 stayed there for "A" school in the GMT rate. Then moved on to Albuquerque NM for the second phase of school.  Upon completion of school assigned to the USS Everglades AD-24 in Charleston, SC. Worked in the ASROC shop untill discharged Jun '69. Joined the Naval Reserves in Aug '71.  Made GMTC in Sept '83.  On 7 Dec '83 left for duty on the USS New Jersey BB-62 in Beirut, Lebanon. Assigned to Turret "3". During my Naval Reserve time I served on many different ships, Momag unit out of Scotland, and Wepsta, Earle NJ.  Presently in the Individual Ready Reserve status since Dec '91. Hope to make retirement in Feb '07.
