       Served from September 1971 to July 1975.  RCPO, Recruit Company 316, RTC San Diego, assigned to USS Midway (CVA 41) out of boot camp.  Served on Midway through 13 month deployment to Republic of Vietnam (Yankee and Dixie Stations), transferred to USS Lockwood as non-volunteer when Midway home ported to Yokosuka, Japan. Shortly after reporting aboard Lockwood, cross-decked to USS Kitty Hawk (CV 63).  Honorably discharged in July 1975.  Rejoined UNSR in May 1983, retired as YNCS in Decebember 2006.
