Served from December 55 to November 59. Went to Great Lakes training center Company 764.  Assigned to Uss Saratoga.  Went on Operation Strikeback cruise, and Mediterranean Cruise (Lebanon Crisis of 1958). Transferred to USS Independence as Indy's first asst. mirror operator and division welder.  Honorably discharged at Brooklyn Navy Yard.
