Served from Oct 62 to Dec 66. Went to Great Lakes Training
Center, and was assigned to USS Valley Forge LPH 8 shortly thereafter.
Was sent to Vietnam for three tours, two tours on the Vallley Forge and
one tour on the Yorktown. Home port for four years was Long Beach, California.
Honorably discharged 1966. Joined the CB Reserves for three years in NH.
