Had recruit training in San Diego, Cal 1942 Credit for
seven years, ARM2/c. Joined a Seabee battlion, MCB-17.exclusive
train in all defensive & offensive warfare. Signed for two years of
active service September 1966. Ordered to The Seal base for refresher
coarce and to Viet Nam for 19 Months. !968 returning to Inactive
Reserves and attaining the rate of Master Chief. I was assigned as
Master Chief of the First Naval Reserve Construction Regement. 1980
was Nominated for Forces Master Chief of the U.S Naval Reserve. Retired
July 1981.
