I was in WW11, from 12-3-43 untill it ended in 1945.Trained in the Great Lakes,Virginia, then to Mare Island where we worked on the Gilmore sub-tender ~3 months until our ships LCT 1038-1076 were ready(I was on LCT 1076)In the Floatilla #22 in the Pacific.
