ENTERED U.S. NAVY IN JUNE 1989. SERVED ABOARD " USS LEFTWICH DD 984 . " WHILE SERVING ABOARD WE MADE TWO WEST PAC'S . WE WERE DEPLOYED TO OPERATION DESERT STORM FOR 6 MONTHS. THE LEFTWICH WAS THE MOST NORTHERN DEPLOYED NAVAL VESSEL IN THE PERSIAN GULF. OUR SHIP WAS AWARDED THE COMBAT ACTION RIBBON FOR OUR ACTIONS IN THE GULF WAR. I MADE GMG3 IN DEC 91 HONORABLY DISCHARGED IN OCT 1992.
