Served from March 16, 1942 to April 25, 1962.  Enlisted in Albany, N.Y. and was assigned to the USS Lexington in April of 1943 to May of 1945. Also served on the USS Lake Champlain (CVS-39). Served in the Asiatic-Pacific Campaign, World War II, & Korean War. I was stationed in many places including Norfolk, Corpus Christi,Pensacola (twice), & Key West.  Honorably discharged in April 1962 from Ellyson Field.  Last duty assignment was Heltraron 8 at Ellyson Field in Pensacola, FL.
