What up seamen!! Never gets old :) I joined the Navy in July 1995 in Great Lakes, IL after graduating high school in La Crosse, WI. After bootcamp I went to "A" school in San Diego, CA for Radioman Training. Awesome time!! From there I went to Virginia Beach, VA for "C" school training on JMCIS (?) I think. Barracks were full then so everyone got put up in hotels on the strip. Ahhh the good life! My first duty station was Keflavik, Iceland 1996-1997. Unfortunately, my roommate/best friend and I got hurt in a bad car accident, and I was shipped off to NNMC in Bethesda, MD from 1997-1999, and I can't tell you how much I miss everyone I met along the way, and I talk about my Navy days as the best years of my life!!
