NAVetsUSA WebRing Home Port

Welcome to the home port of NAVetsUSA WebRing. This WebRing was created to develop and promote comradeship among our members; to assure and revitalize civic interest in the United States Navy and its history; and to support and endorse the character, substance and essence of our Navy, through knowledge of the Internet and use of the World Wide Web...

  • If you are already part of the ring, and need to edit your sites attributes (URL, email address, site-description, keywords or password), enter your site ID and password below:

How to join the ring
Here are the steps that need to be followed to join the NAVetsUSA WebRing. Please follow them closely to preserve the integrity of the ring.
  • Save a copy of the graphics below. DO NOT reference the graphic from someone else's server unless you have been given permission.

  • Add the HTML fragment below to your homepage. This must be the page that you register for the site. The HTML and graphic may appear on additional pages as you desire but MUST be on the page where a visitor enters the site from another ring member's page.

  • Change the IMG SRC tag as necessary to make sure the fragment points to images on your own site. The NAVetsUSA-RING link, however, should still point to rings.html.
  • Put your email address in the "mailto:" space and your name in the next space.
  • Fill out the below form to register your site. Note that this does not insert you into the ring; it simply makes your page known to the WebRing program and gives you a Site ID Number. The actual insertion is done later.
Your page's URL:
Your page's Title:
(NOTE: This must be the page which contains your WebRing HTML and graphic.)

Your e-mail address:
Password: (The password allows you to later make changes. Do not forget it! If you have any problems, email navetsusa@earthlink.net)

Enter up to 20 keywords to describe your site.

Description: Enter a short description of your site.

  • Change the five references to http://www.webring.org/cgi-bin/webring so that the id= is followed by your Site ID number. For example, if your site ID is 32, the href should be something like:

  • E-mail the RingMaster of the NAVetsUSA-Ring site and ask to be added to the ring. Be sure and include your URL and Site ID Number. The RingMaster will want to look at your page to make sure that it meets the criteria for addition to the ring and to make sure the HTML fragment on your page is ok.
  • After checking your page, the RingMaster will take your Site ID Number and use it to add you to the ring. You should then receive an email telling you that you've been added.
  • That's it. You should now be able to navigate the entire ring until you make it back to your own page.

The RingMaster reserves the right to remove any sites from the ring that do not conform to the above criteria or any sites that contain nudity or profanity of any sort.
