Joined the Navy in Feb. '63. After Glakes RTC, I went to "A" school in Memphis, then to VP-44 in PAXRIV, MD. I then went to Univ. of New Mexico as a NESEP, OCS, NFO training, and then to VP56. After VP-56, I was XO at NAVFAC Barbados, and then to NPS Monterey. Next I was assigned to VP-24 until 1980 when I transferred to OPNAV at the Pentagon, then retired from BUPERS in '84.
