Went to Great Lakes from 9-63 to 12-63 Company 441.  First duty assignment
was on the USS Antares, AKS 33, while heading back to Norfolk, ship caught fire and
almost lost it at sea.  Next duty sta was Hospital Corps School from July 64 to Dec 64 Chief Raymond was our CC.  Next duty station was USNH, Annapolis, MD.
Reassigned later to the USS Repose, AH 16. Later assigned to the USS
Oriskany, CVA-34.  Was on the ship just prior to the fire and reassigned when
we got back to Pearl.  Went to FMF and spent time with various units of Force
Recon after jump school.  Other qualls were Surg tech and Independent duty.
