Went to Great Lakes Recruit Training Center Aug 17 1967, and was assigned
to USS Constitution (Old Iornsides) Boston Mass. one year 1967-1968. Went
to A school in Millington, Tenn 1968, then assigned to HC-5 Imperial Beach, Ca
for training as a Search and Rescue (SAR) swimmer.  Upon completion I was
assigned to HC-1 Det-1 SAR deployed on USS Ranger 1970-71 to Viet Nam.
Return to US and attached to HC-1 Det-3 SAR deployed to Viet Nam 1971-72.
returned to US assigned to Naval Air Station Cubi Point, Philippines SAR 1972-
75. Returned to US attended B school Millington, Tenn 1976 and was assigned
to Naval Air Station Corpus Christi, Texas SAR 1976-80.  Transfer to sea duty
VF-41 Naval Air Station Oceana Viginia Beach, Va. Boarded out of Navy Medical
Retirement 1981 Retired as Chief Petty  Officer.
