Would love to hear from shipmates who remember "Gear Adrift"
and our impromptu concerts on the hangar deck and foc'sle.
Performing in the CPO mess on "surf and turf" night was the greatest!  "Gear
Adrift" performed at the USO canteens that were set up in the Med as well as on the
ferry boats to and from liberty.  Does anyone remember the "FID Squid Talent Show" in Palermo, Sicily in 1980?
