Served from June 1965 to April 1971. Went to Great Lakes Recruit Training
Center, Company 172, and was assigned to the USS Salute MSO 470, shortly
after. Was involved with the 1967 search of the H bombs over Spain's water. Two Med trips, part of the EXPO 67, and Caribbean war games. Was transferred form active duty to active reserves in Amarillo, Texas. Honorably Discharged in April 1971. I believe the US NAVY was the best thing, I have accomplished, in my life time. It was Honor to serve my Country, The United
States of America.
