Served from November 1967 to September 1971.  Went to NTC
San Diego, CA, and was assigned to the USS Princeton (LPH-5).
During my time aboard the USS Princeton, we were the re-
covery ship for the Apollo 10 mission and the recovery ship for an
underground nuclear test on Amchitka, off the Aleutian Islands.  After a
WesPac cruise from 68 to 69, I was transferred to the Uss Kitty Hawk (CVA-63), which at the time was in drydock in Bremerton, Washington.  Aboard the
Kitty Hawk, it was another WesPac cruise from 70 to 71.  I
was honorably discharged in September, 1971.
