Enlisted Feb. 1967 and did boot camp at NRTC, San Diego.  Assigned to RM
"A" school in San Diego and then after graduation went to Yokosuka, Japan
from 11/67 to 11/69. Transferred to the USS Okinawa LPH-3 and was on board
from 11/69 to 12/70.  Seventh fleet cruise including PI, New Zealand, Japan,
Okinawa, and Vietnam.  Discharged in time for Xmas, 12/1970.  It was a very
good life!
