I did my entire enlistment on the "BIG I"
Enlisted in the Navy Oct, 1960.  Boot camp at Great Lakes:
>From boot camp to the fleet (OJT), no schools, I think because, I refused to
be a Corpman, while in boot camp:
I was assigned to V-1 division (fleet deck, blue shirt)
Made Air Controlman 3rd class in 1963, (from the book)
Was at the Bay of Pig, incident and the Cuba blockade.
